Description:
Bread & Roses was founded in 1974 by Mimi Farina (Joan Baez sister) and a performer in her own right. Bread & Roses is dedicated to uplifting the human spirit by providing free, live, quality entertainment to people who live in institutions or are otherwise isolated from society. Teevan Productions has produced Bread & Roses annual fundraising event since 1998. These concerts have taken place in a variety of venues including the San Francisco Opera House, Herbst Theater, Teatro ZinZanni, The Regency Center and the Warfield Theater.
