Dave TerryDave comes to Teevan Productions from St.Louis, MO, where he escaped an education in English literature at St. Louis University with the ability to recognize a paragraph and construct a coherent sentence.

Armed with these amazing talents, Dave came to San Francisco in 1977 to pursue his career in the arts and music, which led to a 25-year career in restaurant management.

Very active in the a’capella music craze of the 90’s – Dave was a founding member of a popular trio called “The Baltimores”.  They recorded several records and toured nationally.  Highlights included performing for Jimmy Stewart’s birthday party and playing second banana to a robot on a Budweiser Summer Music tour.

Enhancing his reputation as a “triple threat” Dave honed his skills as a dancer by  spending his high school summers as a  “dance partner stand in” for his mother who owned and operated a dance school.

Dave also performed regularly with a popular comedy group “Ducks Breath Mystery Theater”.   He continues to collaborate with Merle Kessler and J. Raoul Brody on shows that can be seen at The Marsh Theater and performances of  the music series “Evening of Song.”

Dave is married and the father of a daughter, and plays the piano, writes music and sings. His midlife desire for a career adjustment led him to Teevan Productions in 2002, where he works happily from his hilltop “office with a view” as the company’s Sponsorship Manager.  He hopes to someday learn to operate heavy machinery.
