NEW LEAF: SERVICES FOR OUR COMMUINTY

Description:
New Leaf: Services for our community is a nonprofit organization that provides services to the LGBT Community. Teevan Productions has produced their annual "Spring Gala" since 2002. Donated wine and cocktails along with heavy appetizers both buffet and passed are part of the mix. Special awards are given honoring individuals and organizations.
Celebrity Guests have been: Olympia Dukakis, Alan Cumming, Cloris Leachman, Honey Labrador and Robbie McLaughlin of Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Girl", Armistead Maupin, Leslie Jordan and Bruce Vilanch.

Location: The event has been held at Teatro ZinZanni since 2002.

Attendance: 400 - 600

Responsibilities:
Work with Event Committee to create concept and goals
Manage Committee process (agenda, minutes, tasks and follow up)
Award coordination
Artist and presenter booking, contracts, rights and permissions, sound checks and line up
Venue, contract, light & sound design and layout, staffing, security
Print Material coordination and facilitation
Budgets, timelines and schedules
Catering coordination
In-kind sponsorships for Beverages
Silent Auction - solicitation, management and layout
Media, advertising, PR, ticketing, sponsorships
Box office and ticketing
Name tags and guests lists
