AIDS/LifeCycle

Description:
The AIDS/LifeCycle is an event that raises money for HIV/AIDS services. It features over 2,300 participants who ride bicycles 545 miles, from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The ride is the most successful event of its kind, raising over $11 million. The event started in 2000.

Teevan Productions produces the “Opening Ceremonies” and the “Closing Ceremonies” which sandwich the ride at the beginning and end. Teevan Productions has produced these events since 2006. The Opening Ceremonies take place at the Cow Palace in San Francisco and feature an orientation day and then the ride out. Closing Ceremonies take place at the Veterans Administration property in Los Angeles with the rider’s arriving from the trip and participating in a “finish line” celebration of their journey.
