For the past three decades, The Women’s Building Celebration of Craftswomen has allowed Bay Area residents, along with visitors to San Francisco from throughout the world, to discover the work of the nation’s best female artisans and fine artists.
The Celebration of Craftswomen is San Francisco’s largest holiday fine crafts retail fair, and the largest event celebrating the craft of women in the nation. The event is sponsored by and is a benefit for The Women’s Building, a community service center serving women and girls in San Francisco. The event takes place over two weekends (four days). Teevan Productions produced the event from 2006 – 2011.

Responsibilities:
Attendee reception and registration
Audiovisual, rental, decor and waste management vendors
Coordinate on-site exhibitor load-in, registration and setup and load-out
Determine floor plan and placement of exhibitors
Develop and manage on-site financial management system
Develop and manage raffle, silent auction and beverages area
Develop and oversee event budget
Develop the overall theme, programming and event schedule
Development – Corporate Sponsorship
Exhibitors/Artists – solicit and manage
Food and beverage vendors
Manage all on-site vendors, staff and volunteers
Manage exhibitor load-in, registration, setup and load-out
Media Relations and Event Collateral
Oversee the setup of jury selection process
Parking plan, including shuttle service from nearby lots
Produce and stage manage general event program
Programming -Develop and oversee overall look and decor plan based on event theme
Security
Signage
Staffing plan and schedule for the event
Venue negotiation and coordination
Volunteer coordination
