Description:
Maitri provides residential hospice and 24-hour care to men and women living with AIDS. Teevan Productions helped the organization create and launch an annual fundraising event called “Bliss”. Teevan Productions has produced the annual event since 2002. The event features food stations donated by some of San Francisco’s finest restaurants including: Jardiniere, Rubicon, Bizou, AsiaSF, The Franciscan Restaurant, Catch, Delfina, Piperade, Home, and Millennium, among others.
Celebrity Guests have been: Armistead Maupin. Rita Moreno, Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, Assemblyman Mark Leno, Tracy Chapman, and Carol Channing.
Location: The event has been held at Limn Gallery, Bambuddha Lounge and the Fort Mason Officer’s Club.
Attendance: 400 – 700
Responsibilities:
Work with Event Committee to create concept and goals
Manage Committee process (agenda, minutes, tasks and follow up)
Celebrity guest booking, contracts, rights and permissions, sound checks and line up
Venue, contract, light and sound design and layout, staffing, security
Volunteer Coordination
Print Material coordination and facilitation
Graphic Design concept coordination and execution
Budgets, timelines and schedules
Food and Beverage coordination
In-kind solicitations
Silent Auction – coordination and management
Sponsorship and Fundraising consultation and management
Media, advertising, PR, ticketing, sponsorships
Name tags and guests lists
